Do we believe that peace can come to the Holy Land? Well we do but it is going to take a lot. It is going to take time, the people are going to have to want to work together, and they need to have a change of heart. There are years of wounds because this conflict has been going on for awhile, and so to fix all of these problems it is going to take some time for scars to heal and for everyone to want to start working together to bring peace. Some people fear that by combining the lands violence will spread rampant, but through our readings and the people we have met we see that some people do really want peace to come and are willing to try to help to make it happen. If they states were to be combined then we think that they should have equal representation for both sides. This would hopefully make the Israelites feel more secure because they feel that they are the minority and this way they could secure their place in the land. Along with a change of heart, if peace is to come they should teach the next generation acceptance and love for their neighbors. This conflict is something that not everyone is aware of and it is important for us to educate others and ourselves about it so we can pray for the Israeli/Palestinian conflict because as Christians we should seek peace and want to help obtain it.
